This 25 minute documentary shows an extreme case of a suburban teenager’s infatuation with the automobile -- Joe Rau has started crashing cars before he had a driver’s license and went on to total them while awake and asleep. Some of the cars caught on fire, some belonged to his employers, some were hastily abandoned, others were cried over. All the accidents are frankly described by Joe, his family, and all the various friends who have survived them.
